About Me

I am a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor practising in the Winchester, Andover and Stockbridge area of Hampshire.  I offer a range of Matwork classes for all levels in groups of 10 or less and private 1 to 1 sessions.

I am trained in Pre-Natal and Post-Natal Pilates to help mothers support their changing bodies, and chair-based Pilates for those with limitations on their mobility.

Using the STOTT PILATES method I will help you achieve your physical goals; whether you're training for a sporting event or simply want to maintain and enhance your mobility as you age.

I first studied Pilates whilst attending a professional dance school from the age of 11 and I have seen the technique stand the test of time. I now have a movement for life approach to Pilates ensuring that what you practise in my class is taken into your everyday life.

My philosophy for living is to 'keep moving' because, with a strong foundation in dance, a passion for posture and an understanding of modern principles of exercise science, I believe the way you move your body is the key to a happy and healthy life.

Testimonials

Pregnancy Pilates with Chloe was a really great way to relax and prepare for Labour and beyond. Chloe is such a lovely lady and makes you feel confident in your abilities. Chloe dedicates time to each member of the class to make sure your posture is correct throughout the session. Highly recommend.

Emma Loader Pre-Natal Pilates

I have one on one sessions with Chloe and she is the best! I started as a complete beginner and over the months Chloe has helped me improve my posture and form, and awakened a love of Pilates within me! Friendly and professional, I’d definitely recommend her.

Roz Cunningham 1to1 Matwork Pilates

I attended Chloe’s Prenatal classes which really helped reduce all the pregnancy aches and pains as well as preparing for the big day itself. Highly recommended.

Miranda Derwent Pre-Natal Pilates

Just attended my first class with Chloe in Longparish. She is really good at explaining what is needed and uses plenty of equipment and variations to keep you interested: the hour flew by! I would heartily recommend this class.

Group Classes

Group classes are never more than 10 people to ensure I have time for each individual.

If you are new to my classes you will first be required to attend a 6 week introductory programme; 6 classes in a group of 10 or less which, allows me to assess your needs, understand your goals and ensure you know the basics of the technique for you to progress safely and effectively within a group class environment. After completing this you may book on any group classes, at the appropriate difficulty level, to fit in and around your schedule.

1 to 1 Private Sessions

I will create a programme just for you; utilising the breadth of the repertoire to accommodate your strengths and weaknesses.

To begin a 1 to 1 programme, you will be required to have a 90 minute introductory session including a posture analysis to allow me to assess your needs and create a dedicated exercise programme.

Private Small Groups

If you want the attention and dedicated programme of a 1 to 1 session but would like to exercise with your partner, a small group of friends or your family; I am happy to accommodate small groups in a private session.

As with my 1 to 1 sessions, each person in the group will be required to have an introductory session including a posture analysis to allow me to give each member of the group the personalised experience of a 1 to 1 session.

Pre & Post-Natal

For expectant mothers and new mothers, these classes will help you stay physically active and strong but comfortable during your pregnancy and help you regain your pre-pregnancy shape after. The programme focuses on abdominal strengthening to prepare pre-natal bodies for post-natal recovery and to reactivate and strengthen the deep stabilising muscles of post-natal bodies. Learn how to support your changing body.

Active Aging

PILATES is perfect for the older exerciser because it helps improve postural problems, increases core strength, stability and peripheral mobility, helps prevent injuries, enhances functional fitness as a whole, improves balance, coordination and circulation, heightens body awareness and is low impact on the joints. This programme focuses on keeping your spine young and mobile, maintaining flexibility and developing core strength and stability so you can keep moving with confidence.

Power Pilates

Aimed at those in physical professions; this programme has a strong focus on alignment to reduce the potential for injury and I will work on your functional strength by emphasising endurance and control, and incorporating weights, to increase power.
